The copper bracelet Kalliope, c.a. 50 grams, c.a. 18mm wide – . A wide two-tone bracelet, a wide strip of copper with a narrow inlaid strip of brass.
The elaborate production:
A 3x18mm strip sawn to the correct length according to your specifications, then provided with a 1.3x4mm groove. A strip of brass is made for this groove, then pressed in and hard-soldered. The oxide is removed in sulphuric acid, then the soft slag is scraped off under running water. Roughly grind the 2-colored top into a semicircular shape, leaving a thickness of 3 mm in the middle. Sand finely, check the solder joint, re-solder if necessary. Then finely polish the surface. Sand and polish the inside. Carefully smooth the edges with corundum, smooth out any cracks. Press into the oval shape using a press. The copper bracelet is polished again, wrapped, put in a bubble envelope, address label with the tracking code on it … and off to the post office … and then the bracelet will soon be with you.
The copper bracelet is around 18 mm wide and is discreetly striking thanks to its two-tone design. It looks elegant and delicate. It looks classy and not roughly handcrafted, can be worn for all occasions … both festive and casual wear, goes well with all types of jewelry, can be worn with coloured jewelry, especially thanks to the two-tone design. The bracelet is not very elastic, so we definitely recommend a precise fit. Although the bracelet looks fine and elegant, it is also hard-wearing. So it can also be worn for sports such as tennis or golf and is striking due to its width. Absolutely waterproof. You can wear this bracelet de facto always Adjustment is possible with moderate effort
The surface may show slight signs of wear after prolonged use, as with silver jewelry that has been worn for a long time. Re-polishing is possible – then it shines like new again. The inside is finely polished, the brass strip is only visible on the surface, so skin contact is only with copper.
Although this has not been scientifically proven, many people report that the bracelet helps them with inflammation, muscle tension, joint pain and rheumatic complaints. This is why many athletes also wear a copper bracelet. You can find more interesting details on our “What you should know about copper” page.
